First Job

B028 dated at Tadepalligudem the 03.07.T21.

సరిగ్గా నెల రోజుల ముందు ఒక వాట్సాప్ స్టేటస్ పెట్టాను.

బ్రతుకు తెరువు కోసం పొట్ట చేత పట్టుకొని పట్టాల రైలు ఎక్కి పట్నం బయలుదేరి పదేళ్లు అయింది అని.

దానికి కొనసాగింపుగా ఇదే రోజు పదేళ్ల ముందు జరిగిందో రాసి అప్పట్లో ఒకచోట share చేసాను. ఇప్పుడు ఇక్కడ reshare చేస్తాను.

A  Painful Success Story

I fixed alarm for this morning at 6.24 AM.

But I woke up at 7.39 Am.

I don’t even have a copy of resume.

I don’t have an ironed shirt.

I started and went 2 Maadhapur in hyderabad.

I walked 4 10 min and searched 4 an internet cafe opened.

I wasted 30 min and asked a travel agency receptionist if he has a printer.

I requested him and had a copy of resume 4m pen drive.

Later I went to Mind Space by 2 autos.

I had got off the auto at building# 1, but had 2 reach building# 14.

I asked every security people and reached my target.

I should go to 4th floor. I was going to lift, some security person enquired me.

I answered "I CAME FOR ZENQA INTERVIEW".

He asked me 2 sign on register along with my serial number which could

be available on the short listed roll.

Shocking. My name was not there. But I got the call letter 4m JKC.

The content of that letter was inviting me 2 attend ZenQA today.

It added 2 come with the print out of that call letter, ID proof and

updated resume.

I went there with my voter ID Xerox instead of JKC ID card or College ID card.

Any how the security person allowed me to go to 4th floor.

There I could find the roll list again at reception.

Shocking again, I found my village name instead of my name.

Receptionist asked 2 wait until the manager come.

He even was checking the call letter whether it’s ours or not.

I made my call letter printed without to address such that there is no

proof that it is mine.

I waited for 40 min there and manager came and conducted written test

to the students inside the office.

I fixed myself that I have to go from there.

Manager came 2 me and I explained the situation showing my voter ID

proof in which my village name is there.

I was sent inside.

Aptitude test was conducted for an hour. I completed it successfully

and was confident.

After 20 min results were announced.

I was qualified 4 next round which was C-Test.

I was not satisfied with my performance.

By God' s grace I was qualified 4 next round Interview.

Along with me, our college mate Shanmuk C.S.E was also qualified.

Next we were fed with puff, sandwich and a glass of slice.

I had no other file with him, except my voter ID Xerox while remaining

had their files with them.

I was at no. 15 to be called for interview.

Interviews started at 3.05 at 2 panels.

We were in discussions whether it is Tech HR or HR or both once or one

after other.

I entered panel and a man without moustache and with red T-Shirt interviewed me.

He did not even ask me 2 introduce myself.

A-Z technical and he had a glance at my dot net certification.

He asked me where my interest is and I told Development even though it

is a Testing based company and recruiting freshers only to test

projects of clients in U.S, U.K and Canada.

I was shocked again after knowing that I must give them a commitment

of 2 and half years to work there.

I decided to leave that even if I was selected.

When I was thinking this, I was called again 2 attend another panel

being interviewed by C.E.O of ZenQA.

This time I was discussing with him about 20 minutes. I was 3rdd

person called 4 2nd panel of interview.

After calling 8 more people to interview, results were given.

I WAS SELECTED.

I WAS SELECTED.

6 weeks is the prohibition period after which I have 2 sign a bond of

2.5 years if my work satisfies them.

Total 5 members were selected out of which our college mate Shanmukh is one.

We are all Test Engineers.

After a discussion of 15 min, I was called personally by the Red

T-shirt person who interviewed me in Panel-1.

Shocking again he promised me that I will be Software developer if I

prove myself in prohibition period.

After 20 min we all were given offer letters, I was declared as

SOFTWARE ENGINEER as remaining were Software test engineers.

I remembered the words that I had given my mom “I will be placed

within 1 month” before one month.

I (We) have to join tomorrow.

My salary is 14000 per month up to 6 months and will be 18000 per month later.

In between every round I prayed 2 God.

God blessed me.

Anyway tomorrow is my first day of Job.

ఆ రోజు ఇదంతా టైప్ చేసి facebook లో పోస్ట్ చేస్తుంటే లెంగ్త్ ఎక్కువైంది అని మా క్లాస్ గూగుల్ గ్రూప్ లో షేర్ చేశాను.

Mistakes ఉన్నప్పటికీ అప్పుడు నా ఇంగ్లీష్ ఇలా ఉండేది అని తెలుసుకొని దాని essense కోల్పోకూడదని as it is కాపీ చేశా.
